Master en Behavioral and Social Sciences For Public Policy

The Master program “Behavioral and Social Sciences for Public Policy” (sciences comportementales et sociales pour les politiques publiques) aims to equip students with cutting-edge skills in handling the most recent instruments of behavioral, economic and social sciences, in order to enable them to deal with the crucial social, economic, political, cultural or environmental issues for public policies in Morocco and, more broadly, in Africa. The originality of this Master is to train students in the use of a wide spectrum of methods, ranging from economic modeling to ethnography, experimentation (in laboratory as in natural environment), questionnaires, interviews or qualitative observations. In addition to the emphasis on rigorous learning of data collection and analysis methods, the program of this master aims to open the student to a deep reflection on the content, the context and the meaning of his action, through courses in political philosophy or scientific argumentation. The program is based on a set of distinct disciplines and is structured in a way to ensure the adaptability of students to the diversity of situations and their employability in national institutions and international organizations in charge of development.
